Windows 10 upgrade 1803
Troubleshoot dual boot (read description first)
Last night my Windows 10 upgrade to version 1803 since then I lost my boot on Windows XP . It was a dual boot system with Windows XP placed on my old hard drive and Windows 10 installed later on an SSD hard disk drive. For some reason when I was booting in Windows XP was coming at blank screen and nothing more.
After some research I realized that Windows 10 upgrade moved the swap file on my old hard -where windows xp swap was!!!!!!- disk drive because this saves and maintain ssd’s drive health. On the other hand unfortunately my Windows XP was unable to boot.
I had to reset my system by pressing the power button. then boot in Windows 10. Click on images to get a solution step by step to fix the issue. Solution is easy for most of users and harmless if you follow these simple instructions. I have no responsibility of any other user's actions and mess up your system.
